I'm wondering if anyone else ever saw this one....

Remember the Sesame Street "One of These Things are Not Like the Other?" where four things are compared and the viewer has to decide which one is different than the other three?

I recall one that looked like it was from the late 70s, and I remember seeing it in the early 80s as a kid. It was three white children and a black child (I even remember him wearing a red turtle neck). And the black kid was the "other." Even at two or three I remember being really surprised by it and thinking it was wrong...

So, am I the only person that remembers this little gem? Is it out there on the internet so I can prove how bad it was? Eh?

They were all dressed differently and the shots were from the chest up.

I used to watch Sesame Street when I was younger and I do remember the "One of These Things are Not Like the Other" I am not sure if I do remember the eposide that you are talking about. But if they did do it I am sure that they just did it to show that there are different people out there. As racist as it seems now I am sure that they were just trying to show difference.

I don't remember Sesame Street being racists but Bugs Bunny was seriously racists!

Wow! I don't ever remeber them comparing children. Do you know if the kids had something in their hands or were the other kids all dressed alike? If not then yeah, that craps not cool!
