Like the strongest period pain that you have ever felt and together with the pain you get a feeling of your tummy tightening, it goes rock hard.

They are very painful!! They start out like period cramps and then get worse and worse. You actually feel for a moment, during the contraction like you're going insane the pain is so bad. It doesn't last though and as soon as you have that little baby in your arms it makes it all worth it. It's just one day out of your life.

No now not even near. braxton hicks is whilst your entire stomach will get truly tight for seconds to mins, looks like stress, cant breathe and slightly tiny cramp. Real contractions think EXACTLY like your interval cramps however soooo a lot more excessive. U will obviously realize whilst it's truly exertions or now not. The discomfort won't get bigger however most effective worsen...feel again to whilst u had relatively dangerous cramps along with your interval and multiply that by means of one hundred...with an epidural and a few discomfort meds u will manipulate...well success!!

It's different for every woman...but for me it felt just like someone stabbing through my cervix with a knife, and then all my uterus clenching like a fist. It sound more scary than it is. Don't worry b/c you catch a break between contractions, and once that baby is here it won't even seem like you went through it, you'll be so sky-high in joy and adrenaline!

If it's that bad you can always opt for the epidural - my OB said it doesn't cross the placeta, so baby is safe and mom can catch a break.

Good luck!

My instructor had all of us to get a glass with 2 or 3 ice cubes and a timer. hold the ice cube in your hand for 1 minute rest 1 minute hold 1 min. rest 1 minute. do this for about 5 to 6 times and it will give you an idea. Great exercise no lie.

But to you question major cramping and tightening in the lower stomach.

im a mom of 4 recently i just delivered baby number 4, contractions called braxton hicks are a mild crampy feeling and they may intensify as you progress. as for being in hard labour im not gonna lie to you it is very painful its hard to describe but it hurts bad but if you apply youre breathingtechniques and just let yourself go out there and breathe through them you will do great, if they get to bad you can always ask for pain med, but let me tell you what the delivery process is emotional and painful but once you have that baby holding them in youre arms you forget all about it its a beautiful thing

They feel like a very bad stomache cramp, starting at the top and working down. You belly will get hard to the touch. Imagine menstrul cramps, but worse. A very strong pressure, like some one was blowing up your stomache.

Like the worst pain you have ever felt in your life. The good news is the pain stops once the baby comes...
