I guess this comes from being in a academically gifted program. There are absolutely NO blacks or Hispanics in this program.

Get to know them better and discover where your prejudice comes from.
EDIT: So because you are gifted, you have a superiority complex? I think you need some inner self-examination and realize how shallow you are being. That is not meant to be an insult, I mean it.

Well that's sad that you are racist against Hispanics and African-Americans considering the fact that in this country your race is considered a minority as well. You are no better of than the Hispanics and African Americans hon, just remember that. Racism is for people who are ignorant and uneducated so obviously that 'gifted program' that you are in is doing nothing to boost your intellect. Stop with the stupidness and grow up.

You must seek attention because what does being in an academically gifted program have to do with being racist? Quiet a few dozen Hispanics and African Americans are in academically gifted program. That is a racist comment in itself. I personally feel as if you’re prone to appearing less inferior. Honestly, it makes you seem that much seconded rate because it shows weakness in you. Also, to bring up the fact that you are indeed in an academically gifted class reveals that weakness even more. You are a closed minded individual that only looks within the box. My suggestion is to look outside the box or else you will never see reality for what it truly is.

You should research other cultures and customs. You can laugh all you want, but people on the other side of the world are laughing at your customs too. Also, goto Blockbuster (or another movie rental store) and rent some movies about Ruby Bridges and Martin Luther King Jr. Never admit that you are racist to other people though, because if I found out one of my friends was, I wouldn't be friends with them anymore. If God made us all the same, then everyone would be really boring. Also, identify multiple things that the people of races you are prejudiced against had to go through, whether recent or in the past. I hope that you realize that we are all the same.

Take a good look at why you are racist. At the college I went to had some nationaly reconized instructors in the computer science program and some of the best teachers I had, so it can't be academics.

Good news to you.

Hispanic and African are not races. Hispanic is someonte that descents from a Spanish-speaking country, African is someone that was born in Africa. Both Hispanic and Africans can be white. I see you probably prejudiced against mestizos and blacks, although you don't even know what a mestizo is.

You're simply ignorant. Educate yourself, that's a good medicine against racism.

OR ASIAN, IT DOESN'T MATTER, YOU'RE IGNORANT EITHER WAY.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

It's impossible to re racist if one is well-read.

Read up on the history and culture of both races.

Read up on reincarnation. If you realize we all live lives of all races, genders and religions, it's pretty stupid to hate any one for their race, because next time it will be you!
