We all know that it is now being set 5 more minutes closer to midnight. What I want to know is exactly what date is supposedly "doomsday" expected to happen???

No one on the face of the planet can tell when the world will come to an end. The only one that knows that is God. He created the Earth and someday he IS going to destroy it, it could be any year, month, day, hour, it could even end while I am typing this message. But I do know that it will probably be when no one expects it. But the Mayans think that it will come to an end on December 23, 2012, but there world has already come to an end so what do they know.

Humans have been talking about doomsday since civilisation began. It hasn't happened yet, has it.

Nobody knows. Don't get caught up in the hype.

Even with Global Warming, some will suffer as the climatic regions of the world change, but most will benefit - more heat and more CO2 = more plant growth = more food.

The good news is we will offset the next ice age, which was bound to happen otherwise. Maybe we were meant to make more CO2 to keep half the world from icing over. All that carbon was locked up as coal, oil and gas and we have released it and saved our bacon.

That would be the date when the doomsday people set the clock to read midnight. :-p

Funny how their clock keeps going back and forth, too.
