I cannot speak for other "liberals", and I don't particularly like the term because of the automatic negative connotations associated with it, but I suppose I have a "liberal/progressive" political ideology. I do not, however, agree with all "liberal" positions.

On an individual, personal level, I care about basic rights and freedoms guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution, separation of church and state, treating every human being humanely, humanitarian aid to third-world countries in need of it, and peaceful negotiation, as opposed to war, to solve problems. This does not mean I oppose all war, as it is sometimes necessary for self-defense.

I don't know what the Liberal stance is per se, but, for the most part, the Liberal label seems rather damning.

The general consensus is that liberals are too irresponsible.

I can't speak for "most" liberals, nobody can but I care about the health and welfare of our country as well as other citizens of the world. What else is there?

This may be hard to grasp for some but most support improving life for those less fortunate American citizens. You know, teach them to fish. That whole welfare thing is carried out to the furthest extremes to make it appear they are worthless people. Heck, if you can't kick those who are down, who can you kick?

the world our children will live in.

Some of these questions are very hateful, I don't know any "on the dole" liberal....I work and raise my kid, I do my job, pay my taxes and have to talk to the teachers at conferences like anyone else...The liberals I know are farmers and co-workers.

Taking money from people that have worked hard and earned their way to be wealthy. They feel they are due some of that money. Not only do they want their so called fair share, they want to tax to death those that have more money also.

So called equality is what they demand. Ok, how about earning your own money. It's always one sided with them.

People versus riches. World conditions versus world domination. The constitution versus institutions. Truth versus lies. Self examination versus self importance.
