I've seen a lot of people already say they don't like the stars. So what do you think?

yeah, they need to go back to the thumbs. How are people going to know if the question is actually good or really crappy if they just use stars? Granted there aren't that many questions that actually get a thumbs up but what do we do about negative comments? Where is the negative star?

I'm in. The stars are distracting when you're scrolling through the list of questions.

I miss the thumbs up/thumbs down! What's the point of the stars anyway? It's not like they give us any extra points for them or anything!

Thumbs down is for whilst i think of somebody is being completely ridiculous or downright rude and insulting. If human beings don't get a `thumbs down` for promulgating racial hatred, we ought to declare, human beings will seem on the respond and think of that I and all of us accept as true with or have discovered no insult or undesirable feeling contained interior the respond. that would not seem solid to something of he worldwide and makes us all seem heartless or detached. the countless rubbish spouted out in this area is disgusting to declare the least and to allow it bypass `unthumbed` could be morally incorrect. Now, reporting is a distinctive rely. I one hundred% have self belief in freedom of speech, yet I even have had the main risk free solutions bumped off by using the religista. How approximately, "specific slightly" as `not an answer` ??? EDIT: a minimum of while you're growing to be thumbs in any direction, you be attentive to folk are reading what you're saying, in spite of in the event that they don`t like it.

No, I don't like the "Stars" either.
Especially when they show who clicked on the star.

I like my anonymity when I rate something even when I don't answer the question.

That would leave every body open to abuse from people who
did not agree with you rating the question with a Star.

***I just noticed - if you have given the question, any question, a "star", you can also remove it, by hovering over the star and it will let you remove your star. At least something, in case you change your mind.

I think we definitly should suggest to Y/A to go back to the thumbs up/thumbs down system for questions. I really don't like the star system.

The one thing I like about the stars is that you can see who the people are that gave the star. I think they should dump the stars but incorporate that idea into the thumbs up/thumbs down to give it a bit more accountability.

Got some bad news guys. Yahoo just dumped thumbs up and down for a stupid freaking heart in 2016. But I have to admit stars is just as juvenile.

the stars are not a bad idea but we still need the thumbs up/thumbs down because what about stupid questions?

Yeah. If for no reason other than to daze and confuse YA patrol
a little bit more . Considering No PandS questions made it to the
big time , why pander to them now. P and S has some of the
best and thoughtful questions in YA but haven't been recognized
as such.
