After tuning in on the American Idol premiere, I think this show is really going to go down fast. Paula just makes me sick, the auditions were boring as hell and I just didn't feel the same excitement as the last few years. What did you think of last nights show?

It's like anything else after a few years. Its getting old. It seems like they're making Paula the bad guy this time around for some kind of change. Last night Simon was noticably nicer to some people. The auditions are entertaining thought. I just feel bad that some of these people have to know they can't sing. It has to be in some cases a couple of minutes on tv or just nothing better to do. I've always wished I could be a singer but I know I don't have the voice. I mean the girl doing King of The Forest, Wiz of Oz??????????????

Well, I guess I feel the same as you and I did notice that Paula acted like a puke last night, I am hoping that as the show continues it will get better and we will feel the excitement that we once felt. One thing that really gets to me is why they allow such auditions some one them are just plain stupid, now I do enjoy some of the auditions because I do enjoy a good laugh but some of the people that I see on the show that acts like they are really upset when the judges tells them no, I feel sorry for some of them because I feel that some idiot has made them believe that they are good and they should audition and these people do not know any difference, It is really sad how some of these people act and how they seem to believe they are just great, when in reality they are terrible. I believe that this is why the show has gone to pots and as long as they allow such stupid auditions then the show will continue to go down fast. From what I saw last night regarding tonights auditions, well, it looks like we are in for an hour of nightmares and freaks!! (or how ever long it will air.)

I thought that the judges were all meaner than ever and not funny at all...Usually when one of them is mean, Paula will try to make the contestant feel better but, last night there was none of that. I really was disgusted at how mean everyone,including Jewel,was to the poor people trying out. I am not even sure if I want to watch tonight or just say the heck with it...Oh, I am usually a huge idol fan so this is rare for me to not like the show...Maybe we will get lucky and it will pick back up?

I agree; I voted for Kris understanding that Adam became the added useful vocalist and has a occupation previous to him inspite of the great result. I thought last nights show was really boring. Usually auditions are my favorite part of the competition, but I actually ended up turning the channel last night.

I didn't watch it. I have watched it from the begining and I decided this year I was not going to watch. It's too much. The show is way over rated and Simon and Paula make me sick. I will not watch AI anymore.

The judges are cruel this year. I don't wrong them with all the jacka$$ people that keep showing up. While watching I've come to the conclusion that there are too many delusional young people out there.

There were too many commercials, they were focusing on the wrong people, and when Paula got up and walked away at the end I am suprised she did not fall over. They did a bad job of editing this show.

I watched it but it wasnt as good as the previous years. the people were really bad and the judges were really mean!!! some of the auditions were kinda funny!

I switched between AFV and Idol .I thought both were fun..If you don't like a show Turn the channel
