I want to enlist in the Marines as a Machine Gunner (Ive talked to a recruiter, taken the ASVAB, and can pass the Initial Strength Test easy), so theres no problem for enlisting.

But I want to start getting an associates degree WHILE Im in the Corps; what is something fairly easy to get on base or online? I know thats kind of broad but help me out here. I would want to get an associates degree in Criminal Justice or something hands on, your not necessarily doing paper work day after day after day. Any hints?

Good for your. Folks who know what they want typically have a head start. You'll have to check with you professional development office, or what ever it's call in the Corps. I recommend that you begin by working on the general education credits that will count towards any degree in any field. Once those are filled you can start on the courses specific to you intended career.

And if you find a job without paperwork, let me know!

Why don't you worry less about shooting people with machine guns and focus more on that Associates degree?

You can get your associates degree at any community college or junior college. If you go to a 4 year University, you would satisfy your AA with your liberal arts requirements, then move on to a specific degree field to complete your BA or BS.
