Giving this info from first hand experience. When I went to grade and high school, i was a really poor reader and couldnt comprehend what i read either. Well, I now have my PHD in Bio Chem. I can now read rapidly and comprehend almost everything i read at a high rate of speed .. It goes like this----study in your room for 8 hours a day for 10 years and you will be able to do the same.

Taking a speed reading course is plain nonsense.
