is it cheaper to make biodiesel then it is to just get reuglar diesel out of the gas pump? if it is cheaper then why havnt major trucking companies started using it?/why hasnt anyone gone into manufacturing of biodiesel and selling it at the pumps.

yes to both questions. & the reason it is not widely used is because the plants that manufactuer diesel would have to change over their entire plant. not to mention lose profit on the businesses they own in petroleum products vs. plant products.
there are a very few gas statoins (mainly geared toward semi's) that sell biodiesel. but they are out there.

it isnt cheaper but it is better for our country. the more money stays in the country. there are companies selling it at the pumps. just have to look for it
