yeah!!! who didnt do that??
our parents put more food in our plates so we can grow healthier, with all our vitamins, proteins..etc..but we are just not very interested in our health at that age and then pay the consequences later...ha

I never had that problem. I grew up in a poor family and food was always at a premium. i.e you never had more food on your plate that you could eat. In fact, if you didn't come to the table when you were called, your siblings may just have taken your food by the time you got there. Having said that, it is not a good idea to finish off you child's plate. This behaviour teaches the child that you will always bail them out when they take on more than they can chew (no pun intended).

No, we were too grateful to get it! No matter how much we didn't like something we ate it because we were hungry.
