I live in a suburb 20 min away from Chicago, IL. I want to go to a University that has a College of Pharmacy. I know UIC has one, but I want to know about other Universities to look into.

I also want to know for example, lets say I end up going to UIC, do I get into the college of pharmacy automaticly or what? Do I start studing to be a pharmacist as soon as I enter college? When I graduate I graduate 4 years after the college of pharmacy right? And after I graduate I go straight up for internships right?

I know it might be a little too early to start thinking about thissince Im still in high school, but I just need to know.

Look into schools near you that have a 6 year pharmacy program. One that you enter straight out of high school. It's a special program where you only do 2 years in undergrad, and then move straight into pharm school.

Otherwise, it doesn't matter too much where you get your undergrad degree from (if you can't get into those 6 year programs). Just take the pharmacy school's required courses, and you'll be eligible. May also have to take the PCAT, but that's irrelevant to what school you go to.

UIC College of pharmacy does not guarantee acceptance to UIC prePharms. They give preference to Illinois residents and that's all. If you want guaranteed acceptance, look over the UIC GPPA program. You'll have to have an ACT score of 28 and be in the top 15% of your class.
You do not start studying to become a pharmacist until you start the pharmacy program proper.
Once you graduate, you are fully qualifed to sit for the licensing exams, which will then allow you to practice.
The other two schools are Midwestern University-Downers Grove and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. SIUE does give strong preference to southern Illinois residents. Midwestern does have a guaranteed acceptance program through IIT and Loyola.
UIC in 2009 will open a branch campus at Rockford. Also, Chicago State U wants to open a pharmacy program at their campus, but there's some controversy surrounding it.
The nearest 0+6 programs are St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Butler University, and Ohio Northern.

docs of drugs purely....... Pharmacists are no longer meant to inform ppl what meds to take for which symptons; even even with the undeniable fact that pharmacists are meant to call a doctor to debate the affected person's drugs records if the pharmacist sees the place what the well being care expert prescribed would not agree w/ something in the records of the affected person. good success to you!

The University of Conneticut has an excellant program, but very demanding. My cousin graduated from it. I believe it was a 5-year program (including undergrad) to the Ph.D.
