here in california it has been getting colder over the last week . if this trend continues california could look like the arctic in 5 years

Well here should be around -10, -15 degrees Celsius, and it's +10, +12 degrees Celsius. That's very unusual! Didn't snow yet at all. Guess it's global warming alright... By the way, it is said that 2007 will be the aridest year ever recorded...

Here on Long Island, New York our winter has been very mild and it's just starting to get very cold and we haven't had any snow yet this year it's very weird. I hope that means the waters are going to be really warm early this year for swimming. The only problem is we have west nile virus and it hasn't been getting cold enough to kill off the mosquitos. I'm curious to find out how the rest of the worlds weather is this year.

In other parts of the country, such as south Florida, it hasn't yet gone below 65 degrees.
