The guy above is clueless. Ignore most of the answers

1. An atom. Hydrogen and nitrogen both have electrons, but if you took one from each you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

2. Chemical changes occur when intramolecular bonds form and/or are broken. That means that you go from one type of molecule to another because the chemical bonds change.

3. Solid (he got one)

4. Physical changes don't break apart or add to a molecule. When water boils, it's undergoing a physical change. The water molecules might not be as tightly bound to one another, but they're still all H2O. The molecules themselves change in a chemical reaction, as described in 2.

5. In simple terms, certain electrons (negative charge) are attracted to multiple nuclei (positive charge from protons). This holds the atoms together. Read up a little for a more complete answer.

1. atom
2. an irreversible change occurs that changes chemical properties. can be seen by color change, bubbles, and/or formation of a precipitate.
3. solid
4. physical change changes physical properties such as size, shape, temperature, etc. chemical change changes identity/ chemical makeup, causing an often irreversible change that changes a substances identity.
5. bonds

1. The electrons

2. The atoms in a molecule collide together with other atoms with enough force, to join together ( I think :) )

3. A solid

4.

Physical => The change can be seen by eye

Chemical => The change it too microscopic to see with the naked eye.

5. The neutrons in one atom attracting the protons in another atom.
