I'm Christian. While there are many extremists that are NOT just Christian and believe Harry Potter is evil, I completely disagree and love Harry Potter. The extremists hate it so much because of the idea of humans using witchcraft. I don't understand their logic because it's impossible to use magic unless you believe the black magic they used to perform on people in Haiti was real. (It wasn't.) Or it may be the idea that in Harry Potter, witchcraft is not only used for evil purposes, but it's also used for good. What I don't get is that these hypocritical adults won't let their children read or watch Harry Potter, but they'll let them read and watch Twilight. The things HP 'promotes' (magic) is much less realistic than the stuff Twilight has in it. (teenage pregnancy, bloodlust, dropping your education, etc.) And there was also the Golden Compass. A catholic family I know refused to let their children watch it because in the movie they 'killed God.' First of all, it's fictional and they don't even have God in the book or movie. Secondly, it was a king they killed, not God or any other god. I believe people picked on that series because the author is atheist and Lyra was portrayed as the next Eve. If some people would stop being so thick headed and actually picked up a HP book, they'd find that they actually show good values like friendship, standing up for what's right, and bravery. Harry Potter is not evil. People are just ignorant and don't look at all of the facts, or choose to be stupid and ignore them. Just don't believe all of us Christians are like that. It may also have to do with the specific church they go to...

I think that was "The Village of the damned", yeah I saw that movie on Sci-fi. There was a big black-out and all the women were impregnated on the same day, and they were all paid to allow the scientist, played by Kirstie Allie(sp?), to examine the children daily. Then the blonde lady who lost her husband falls in love with the doctor who's wife comitted suicide because her child made her??? Sorry if that was too long, but yes I think it was "The Village of the damned".

It's probable to pay plenty of time and money searching for approaches to show your children how to learn and boost their reading skills. Is hard to instruct a small kid how to learn, and actually attractive them to read is challenging in itself. Nonetheless it doesn't need to be like that because you got the aid of the program https://tr.im/nR56U , Children Learning Reading program.
