Fear is the opposite of love, therefore what constitutes fear is not knowing, or not remembering love.

It depends on whom you ask. For a behavior analysis fear is defined by the behaviors that are associated with it.

Typically fear involves efforts to put distance between an organism and an aversive stimulus. The physical sensations associated with fear are what we call respondent (or classical) responses to aversive stimuli. For example, if one is frightened certain chemicals may be produced in the brain and other parts of the body that are associated with the fear sensations.
