I would say to the alien that life on earth is good, bad, perplexing, complex, enjoyable, difficult, fascinating, absurd, funny, interesting, at times seemingly pointless, riveting, scary, and sensational. I would also say to the alien that life on earth is so complex that one would have to experience it to really grasp what it is like.
