it's not much...but i once won 2 tickets to an A's game...they were supposed to be for the upper tier, but the guy at the counter thought I was cute and gave me field level tickets instead, it was great! But that was a raffle, not a contest...
other than that, the only prize I have won was a HALO video game...which I won by being the first person who finished one of those inflatable obstacle courses, it was a proud moment!
if scholarships count...I won $20,000 by writing an essay!

3 grade, I made a poster for an art contest for Martin Luther King holiday. I actually won. The school I went to got some money like $20,000

This is kind of embarrasing - I wrote a poem about "fresh as spring" for a local magazine and was informed I'd won the first prize - this big box was delivered to my work place and I opened it up and was so excited - WHAT...!!! it was a box full of tampons, sanitary pads and deodorants - the guys thought that was so funny.

I continually opt for to win all that stuff! i have stopped staring at it now because I finally end up grabbing all the phones in the homestead and sending about 5 entries in step with telephone! besides, the perfect prize I gained became a jar of Kwik save go with beetroot cubes from a tombola.

$150.00 for shooting the most basketball free-throw shots, 48 of 60 at a church function. I won the money then donated it right back so they could give it as another fund raising prize.
I was hot that day, could have been cause the g/f was watching. I am normally a very poor basketball shooter.

I won $10,000 from mysurvey.com. And was awarded $25,000 from the Insurance Company of a guy who hit me. ( literally, the guy ran me over in a cross walk!)

umm a cake or a cd, i won the cake through a raffle when i was little, and i have won cd's a few times from radio broadcasters, i have some wierd luck with radio contests
