Yes James Beetie played for my team Southampton......hey giggs...like it when someone refers to my home town as soton....only a select few know that you know...and your one of them. Good worker, plays fair, should be a bonus for any team. James has played under Gordon before and will do very well under him again. Respect to wee Gordon,....one of our better managers.

James Beattie is a typical old fashioned English centre forward, a lot like Alan Shearer, he is quite pacey, got tremendous upper strenght, good feet, a great header of the ball, and he is also has a blistering shot on him.

He has played for, Blackburn Rovers, Southampton and Everton.

some tw*t of a striker who plays for everton and thinks he's a lot better than he is. walks around like he's someone special, but has in fact only scored 2 goals this season, and has got more yellow cards than goals (3 so far). no wonder you haven't heard of him. previously played for blackburn and southampton. had one good season when he got called up to the england squad, but thats it.
like alan shearer? is that some kind of joke??!! alan shearer on crack maybe

Yeah, use to score many goals for Southampton. I'm sure he will do well at Celtic.

He is quite a good player, typical old fashion British style. As mentioned, similar to Shearer very strong. Will fit in well at Celtic. Hail Hail!!
