I'm working on a research project where I have to define the physics behind creating relative humidity in the laboratory. I can't seem to find the mathematical relationships for using a bubbler to create water vapor or relative humidity.

Dear Vraz,
Is your reference to 'a bubbler' to that of determining absolute humidity by adsorption of the water vapour, and the RH% thereafter?

It is most commonly named a hygrometer. Traditionally it was made with horse hair that was connected to a cylinder. The higher the relative humidity, the longer the hair is.
