They will probably pay you a set $10-15 per hour, but then they will pay you a percentage of what you bring in to the office over and about the pay you took.
Every year you will get faster and faster at doing peoples taxes and you will start to see the same people over and over who will be making more money and paying more for their tax preparations...
Anyway, if you hustle you can make $20 an hour or so, plus you could take those skills and open you own tax prep/bookkeeping service.
