The Warriors got the better end of the trade. Now they have very athletic players at every position.
PG- B. Davis
SG- M. Ellis
SF- S. Jackson
PF- A. Harrington
C - A. Biedrins
This is line-up will run up and down on people just like Don Neslon wants similar to the Mavericks.

No way they make the playoffs. Golden State is going to be a loser team for years to come, unless the whole organization gets a facelift. As long as a player like Baron Davis is the leader of this team (i.e. a selfish player a la Stephon Marbury that puts up good stats, but just doesn't have what it takes to win), they going nowhere fast. They need to get rid of him, and Chris Mullin from their front office before anyone starts to take them seriously.

Yes, the way they are, they are still battling for the 8th spot. Now, with this trade I think they can get a solid hold on that or the 7th spot. They are just one 5 game winning streak away. I think it's a good move for the Warriors.

Yeah, both teams kept their best players, but the bottom line is, the pg touches the ball every time, so the warriors got the better deal by keeping baron than pacers by keeping Jermaine. it won't look that way at first, but just watch. Davis has a new supporting cast and thrives on that (just like his initial games when he went to Golden state).

I think so...they could sneak into the 7th or 8th spot (with a healthy JRich)

The trade helped out the Warriors because they got players that fit the Nellie-Ball system. Especially, Al Harrington, who apparently wanted to play for GS before he got traded to Indiana. I think he's going to play a bigger role and it should be a good fit for him in GS.
