I get a real sense of security from Reid and Pelosi, and the rest. I was so scared after 911, every day was a living nightmare. Thankfully, the dems are in power, and now I can get a good nights sleep. Does anyone else feel this way?

Wow, really? I don't feel safer at all - appeasing terrorists is not going to make us safer.

But that's the great thing about America, isn't it? We're all entitled to our own opinions.

Have a nice day!

Scotty - you're still trying to find it, aren't you?

Yes. People that think Democrats are about appeasing terrorists are simply uninformed. The question to ask is: why are there terrorists targeting the U.S.? If more people in our country actually read books, they would know that the United States engaged in 82 military operations (wars, invasions, policing, etc.) from 1798-1900. After that, the number of "interventions" is astronomical: 106 in only 104 years! This number does not include the foreign elections that were fixed, nor does it include unsuccessful assassination attempts. The point is, until this type of behavior ceases, there will continue to be terrorists targeting the U.S. But nonetheless, I do believe that the Democratic Party is less inclined to instigate things.

The most the Dems can do is neuter the nutcase in the White House, if they have the will to do it. Let's hope they do. At least we may be able to lessen the damage he can do in the final two years of his administration. To Dems, it is all a waiting game til the next election rolls around. Anyone but Bush, and anyone except Jeb.

How exactly does it make you feel safer? That they want us out of Iraq? What are they doing to better this country and make it safer? All they are doing is trying to push Republicans out of political seats and until they dominate every branch of government we won't know what they are planning to do. Is making it easier for illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. really going to make us safer? Is raising minimum wage making us safer?

What is wrong with you? They are going to issue open invitations to the terrorists to come to America and see what nice guys we are. Of course, the terrorists are going to jump at that opportunity to........you guessed it!.....COME HERE AND KILL US!!
While you're unarmed and cowering in your basement, I'll be out fighting and killing THEM! If other people feel like you do, What the hell is wrong with YOU??

You're more likely to be struck by lightning than killed by a terrorist. Turn off the cable news-you'll feel better.

I'll feel much safer when there's a chimp in a cage. The Dems are trying to halt the deployment of 21,500 more troops from being used as cannon fodder--your damn right I feel good!!

I got your appeasement right here!! Grabs crotch.
