This is more racist than anything I've heard so far!

I completely agree - I'm not saying those girls aren't being horrible to Shilpa, because they blatently are, but they aren't being racist. This whole subject is completely ridiculous now.
And, I quite like Jermaine, but until he said to Shilpa that it was to do with her colour, nobody had even mentioned racism.
It's unbelieveable, and I'm beginning to see how everybody is claiming its all scripted, it could very easily be!

I realize this show is in England, not America. However, Jermaine is American and this is actually a popular term among white people (not usually black people unless they are raised around whites) in our country. It means exactly the same thing as "common" or "low class" does in England. Calling someone "white trash" has begun to be replaced by "trailor trash" in the USA. If a black person were to be racist in America, they would say a lot worse. "Cracker" is a racist term they reserve for whites. Jermaine is not a racist by far. But Jade is white trash all the way! If he did say it, she deserved it. She is filthy scum, straight out of the gutter!

Actually yes he did, it's not a good look for him talking like that, also when Shilpa asked him if his wife was black he said "Of course" as if it would be ludicrous for him to mingle with any other race, although i kind of like Jermaine, he needs to sort his act out too. I hope that he was only being like that in retaliation to what he noticed from the chavs in bb house.

No he did not call her white trash what he said was that where he comes from ppl like her family are reffered to as white trash but he didn't say it - and CHAV is just a nice way of saying white trash

Only probably because it applies to you, i'm not denying it isn't racist but at the end of the end of the day any comment made about any1s colour is racist. I'm not saying its okay but its not okay for those girls to constantly say things about her, they jut don't stop and that is what the issue is, that it ongoing and you can see that frm the genuine people like kleo and ian in the house

I don't think it's that bad saying white trash, it's true anyway! If things are true then you have no right to get offended by it. He wasn't saying everybody who is white is trash, but they were saying all Indians do this or that..
