The ones I keep meeting (and I meet them everywhere) only care to talk about how their ex screwed them over or how miserable their lives are but they keep going back to the ex's and so on and so on.......

Some people live for drama....

And I wonder why I stay single.. lol

Do we know the same people? I am a woman who has gone through the whole ugly divorce drama - yet I want to tell some of my women friend to just get over it and get on with their lives. Some people are just gigantic black holes of need! I, for one, find it tiring.

Cause women are essentially soulless golddiggers and attention whores who want the world to revolve around them 24/7. They're probably going with you for a bit to get some of your money, and to have someone to complain to and put on a front of innocence and purity for. However when they get all the money they can out of you they ditch you for their ex because, as you already said, they like drama and BS.

I don't think they necessarily want it in their lives, but some people are co-dependents, and get drawn back into the same old patterns because of their choices. IF you go on a date, and someone starts rehashing all of the ex stuff, change the subject by talking something else, or if they continue, say, "Lets talk about YOU now, and ask them questions about themselves."

Huh. Sounds like my boyfriend. He absolutely loves to pick fights with his ex even now (they have a daughter in the middle that often is the excuse). But he can go for days and days about supposed injustices. It's annoying and boring.

That's not all women...and you don't say that, so thanks. The bigger question is, why do you keep bringing that type of woman into your life? I hate Dr. Phil, but he said something once that really made me think because I kept meeting loser guys. He said to a guest, "What do all of those guys have in common?...you!" So what is the message...even if it's just in your energy...that you're putting out there to attract these girls?

I agree with what "Chris K" said, why keep going back if the ex keeps screwing up.

Because Jerry Springer, daytime tv and reality tv warps the sense of "normal"
No drama at my house (but we don't watch soaps or Jerry Springer)

I'm not sure. Maybe they don't feel like they are living unless everything is chaotic.. maybe the drama its self is something they are so use to they don't know how to live without it.

But what do I know.. I hate drama!
