I hate Superman, because he thinks he´s all that, and besides, he never had to do anything to get his powers, he simply got them. And who gets weakened by a rock!!!????

Punisher... the era of 'grim and gritty' has come and gone. Heroes like Superman are the ones still around after 60 years and will be here another 60!

I've got to go with a group of heroes.... those that the writers have tweaked and adjusted and made grimmer and grittier or more powerful then they have to be. My two biggest complaints: Cable and Iron Man.

I liked Cable, years ago. Back when he was cybernetic and suffering from his techno-virus. He was interesting that he was weaker then his clone, who was created to save his life. Then they recently "killed" him. And then he was cured of the techno virus and is now in a special Techno-organic body that allows him to be much more powerful then ever and now people claim he is much more powerful then Xavier. There was no need to do this, especially since it takes much of his uniqueness away.

And Iron Man.... My basic problem is that here is a guy who has all this money and yet couldn't cure his body. Marvel hit a great point with him when Tony finally confronted his alcoholism... and "won" (Though with all this Civil War stuff I'd like to see him tempted again)... then he was wounded and infected by some super computer virus (or some such) and to "save his life" he injected himself with a counter virus that gave him a healing factor (that supposedly rivals Wolverine's), fused him with several layers of his armor and allows him to interface with the world's computer systems.... was that necessary? NO.

I hate superheroes that don't wear a mask like Superman, Wonder Woman, X-men, and Fantastic Four. Have they ever heard the phrase secret identity?

I hate what’s been done with some super heroes. When I was younger, I used to really like Spider Man and Fantastic Four. But now I look back at them and realize that they encouraged a whole generation of kids to be like them in the only way they could (since they could never get super powers)—by being filled with angst, self-doubt and arguing amongst themselves.

In other words, they taught kids to be dysfunctional.

I guess the characters I dislike the most are people like Anger Management Issues Man I and II (whom people call “the Hulk” and “the Juggernaut”.) I also dislike characters such as I Got MY Powers by Taking Drugs Lad (and Lass), also known as “Cloak and Dagger”.

Their hypocritical anti-violence and anti-drug stances do not prevent kids from copying them. Marvel APPROVES of those who give in to their anger and stubbornness, and to those who use drugs (like the Super Soldier Serum.)

They are not heroes worth emulating. That is why I call them ‘characters’, not heroes.

I agree with you. Superman is my least favorite superhero. I also think that it is lame that he has to rely on flying and that there's really nothing that really stands out about him. Not to mention what he wears. Batman rules!

Spiderman has always been such a fem drama queen. Wolverine (stop saying Bub!!!!) and Batman have over-saturated everything. But the worst by far is Triathalon or Triathlon-whatever. STUPID IDEA PEREZ! STUPID POLYESTER COSTUME PEREZ!!!

To answer that question, mayhap the worst super hero would be Ghost Rider. Just really lame.

The Punisher because he stands opposed to everything a hero is suppose to be.

Wolverine because he is overrated and over used
