I disagree. People who love themselves tend to love themselves too much and are typically arrogant and self-righteous. I prefer the low self esteem crowd over the arrogant anyday as they are far more humble and therefore a lot kinder.
And I second what Joni B. said about loving God 1st. That is indeed most important.

Technically, it is most important to love God, otherwise you don't really know what love is so how can you give it to yourself or anyone else, but yes, you must love yourself or you have NOTHING to offer anyone else.

TOO RIGHT......but to be honest i dont think we always will be happy within ourselves but i think the best remedy to loving yourself is finding someone who love u for u .......it makes u appreciate who u are as a person and also u can put all that love in to making someone else happy ....

loving God is first for me. If He being perfect, sees fit to love me, that's a reason to love yourself.
