how do i know if this guy likes me?

hes a year older than me. we occasionally talk. we both like the same things. but whenever i see him or go to talk to him i chicken out. I REALLY like him, ive never liked anyone as much before. he smiles at me, and looks at me alot. we see each other in the hall, and hes in one of my classes, and we see each other for after school sports, but i want to make a move, but idk what to do. im trying to flirt, but have no idea wat to do. any tips/idea?should i try to talk to him again? im afraid his friends will make fun of me, or that he will ignore me when i talk to him. what do i do?! im stuck. plz help. thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!! i dont want it to be obvious.

Ok so EXACT same things happening 2 me right now but if ur guys as nice as mine, if you approach him, hes not gonna make fun of you. Just talk about something you guys both have in common and compliment them and smile a lot. Basically just do this - go to his table during lunch, say how was practice yesterday, (or say something along those lines) then start a casual conversation, while smiling continuously lol. And by the way, make sure you look good first. If you talk to him a lot he'll get the feeling you like him.

i had i guy do that once...and i liked himn so much i got tongue tied around him. we were in 2 classes together, so i saw him a lot. one day we were put into the same group project, and the next class period, he sat next to me. what i did embarassed me.. i just blurted out that i liked him... everyone laughed.

the good thing is though, we ended dating 4 over 4 months, until he went to collage. we had to end the relationship, because his schedule was too busy.

the piont is just tell him you like him. it wont hurt anything.
