What where your thoughts the very first time you heard your baby's heart beat?

My thoughts on the first time I heard my son's heartbeat.. I cried.. and so did my husband. Everytime I hear it now(32 weeks) It amazes me. The whole process of pregnancy amazes me still. Well, I hope that helped! It's an amazing feeling! hehe..

it was the most beautiful sound i had ever heard. I didnt want the doctor to turn off the doppler. I could have listened to it all day. in fact, i went out and rented a doppler from the internet so my hubby and I could listen whenever we wanted. plus it is comforting to be able to hear your baby's heart beat when ever you have all those weird things going on with your body that pregnancy can sometimes cause.

while it devolps a heartbeat and while that's heard by a doctor are 2 countless issues. i think (nut might desire to be incorrect)an embryo develops a coronary heart that beats interior 4-6 weeks. yet even at 12 weeks the nurse in ER had a tricky time listening to my toddler's heartbeat.

Its amazing. Especiall when you have a doctor like mine who didnt see me til i was almost 12wks. Even tho i have 3 other kids.. it doesnt make it sound any less exciting. Just hearing it was like "i really am having a baby again!' after waiting so long to hear it it really is amazing! Then few days later they did a dating ultrasound so i got to see my baby too! Was sooo worth the wait of almost 12 wks., hehe

I was emotional.....but mainly to me it made the pregnancy and the "baby" seem real....like wow, there really is a little life inside me!! Its a once in a lifetime thing, ill never forget :-)

It was amazing. Made hubby and I cry. It happened with all 4 heartbeats too. :)
