i think im pregnant. my period was due on the 14 Jan.
over the past 3 days i have done a test every morning and every time i have done it the same thing has happened.
when the urine was going up the test as the dark control line was appearing another lighter line was appearing also.
i am making a doctors appointmant for friday 26...
do you think i am? should i continue with the susspition with me thinking im pregnant?

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

Any line, no matter how faint or how strong, means those pregnancy hormones are in your body. I would wait a couple days, the hormones are supposed to double every 2 days, and take another test. If you're still concerned, call your doctor and ask for a blood test. I don't at all think that the faint line means you're having a miscarriage - even if you were, your body can't just drop the hormones that a pg test works on anyway. Good Luck!

These tests are pretty accurate. A line in a line, faint or not. I'd say you're pregnant, but just to be sure take the next test when you first go to the bathroom in the morning. There will be more of the HCG hormone in your urine.

If you took 3 and they all showed 2 line no matter how light they are I would say yes you are pregnant. The first 2 I took we also very faint I was 2 days till my expected period.

I think you are. A line is a line even if it is faint. I would buy a clear blue easy digital test that says either pregnant or not pregnant. That way you wont have to deal with reading lines. good luck!

well your not very late on your period it could just be your period is late. id wait a few days to see if your period comes before testing again. and if youve not had it by the 26th the doctor will test you. if there is a faint line in the positive box yes. your pregnant. my last pg test was like that you could see it but not very good. and now im 38 wks.

This also happened to me, 3 times as well. It was positive. I found where it said that if a line appears no matter how light it is, it's positive,but definitely keep your appointment!

I took 2 pregnancy tests right in a row and I had two faint lines. A couple days later I took a digital pregnancy test and it said positive. I would say you are. :)

A line is a line- mine was very very faint and nwo my baby is 3/4 of a pound and very active in my tummy

if there is any other line besides the control line, then u are pregnant..... when i got pregnant with my 1st daughter (3 1/2 now) the 2nd like was barely there!
