So I work with a few Black women we were all talking about dating and stuff I casually said I like Hispanic women, well I said Spanish ne way. All of them got an attitude and was like

"See thats whats wrong with you" I was like whats wrong.
She started trying to call out me you if you don't date a black woman then you aint no man for real. Just talking some sh*t You don't know nothing about being a man blah blah.

I'm sitting here like ok I take care of my self comepltley, good job all the normal thing anyone should expect. Now all my credability is lost because I like Spanish women. I asked her are you serious she straight up said F-you and turned around to her desk the other women looked at me and just went back to work.

WTF!! My dad married three black women and 3 divorces just becasue your both the same race doesn't mean it will work

For real. You were just conversing with the wrong women period. It shouldnt have anything to do with color. If it was a group of asian women who reacted the same way, would you have asked this question? Not all black women carry this "im the queen ******" attitude that has now become a stereotype for us. I am very capable of catching quite an attitude....but only when i get one from someone else. You should take this reaction ligthly. These women may suffer from ignorance or they have all been wronged in some way and are now bitter. But dont write off your own race because of this, AND do not base your judgement off of them. ALL races have divorces, ALL races have issues, ALL races have retarded ignorant people. Just do what makes you happy.

Some people are very sensitive about inter-racial marriage. People tend to think that only white people are racist! Some Black women usually think if a black man does not marry within his race that there is something wrong with him or that he was not raised right. They really do take it as a personal insult. I have many friends who have married outside their race and nobody thinks twice about it except for racist, shallow individuals.

I commend you for being honest. Don't worry about what others think about you.

You have a right to want what you want. Thing is they took your personal preference as a personal insult. They interpreted it as they being black women aren't good enough for you, hence why she said **** you. If you wanted to feed their egos and patch their self-inflected wounds you could say if someone who regularly went for black women was to pass you ladies up they'd be crazy, and if you really want to go all air up *** immediatley you could say that if you were to ever consider a black women you'd have a hard time choosing between those in front of you. You are bound to encounter people like that in life. The reaction you got was downright mean and unwarranted. You have the right to express yourself anyway you want without of course putting anybody down. She probably took it the wrong way, like you are trying to tell her that she is not good enough or something. That's her problem, not yours. I would just ignore her like she doesn't exist. But don't lose your cool around the other people in the office.
