I would say promotion as well. At 10pm he can play whatever he wants & really speak his mind. I think he's a much better presenter when he's let off the leash. He doesn't have to mind his language either!
I used to listen to him in the afternoon with Edith Bowman & he was definitey the reason why I tuned in. Edith is perfectly capable of presenting, but I find her quite boring. Colin Murray gave the show an edge!
I'll be downloading Colin's show now, as I very rarely listen to the radio in the evening.

definitely a promotion. he now gets to be himself and play good tunes instead of being restricted by daytime mainstream bullsh*t. also i don't have to get annoyed by edith bowman while listening

it could be a promotion but i dont think as many people would listen at ten pm
