No they never did! The words aren't to be taken as what hands and knees do, but are dance instructions. Touch your hands, touch your knees and the bumps a daisy was bumping your bums together. Then sing tra-la-la-la-la-la-la and repeat!

They used to, many years ago but I don't know if they do now. Haven't heard that song for donkey's years, it used to be great at parties. I reckon the young ones on here won't even know what I'm on about !!
