i've been to three caps games this season since ilive near by and one of which was the homeopener and fata was announced on the roster for that one and another game but now he's not even on the roster

Rico Fata is no longer on Washington's active roster. He now plays for the Mannheim Eagles in Germany. His stats:

On November 8, 2006 Fata signed a contract with the Mannheim Eagles of the German Elite League.

He didn't work out with the Caps, so he signed in the German Elite League....where he currently has 13 pts in 19 games for the Manheim Eagles.

I saw that to and was wandering the same thing.
I just checked the Caps web.site and he is not anywhere to be found, then I checked the NHL site and he is not there either,
I wonder if he went overseas to play?
