How can I tell between real leather and fake (synthetic)?

I can't tell by the smell - it smells like glue and I don't know how it is different than leather smell

BY THE SMELL OR LOOK FOR SUEDE ON THE REVERSE SIDE OR PUT A MATCH TO IT, IF IT BURNS IT'S FAKE IF IT DOESN'T IT'S REAL.

I agree with the others about smelling it. In fact, I believe smell is the biggest reason why people buy leather products.

You can tell by the smell. That smell can't be faked.

Its the smell.. if you smell that leather its real..
