I am a 16 year old sophomore and I run a 13.00 flat 100 meter dash. I was just wondering if this would be considered good with some of y'all. I'm thinking that I'm faster due to out of season workouts but otherwise last year I went to state in D-1 4x100 meter relay team where we won. Thanks.

Nice job! That's pretty good, but most guys times are faster then girls' so I can't really say for sure. Try stretching a lot longer before running. Just make sure you keep that time under 13 seconds. I run track I'm thirteen years old and my best time is 13.65 so you're doing really well.

For a girl at 16, yes, 13 flat is a good time. (Remember, if it's hand-timed, you have to round it to the tenth, i.e. 13.03 on the stopwatch counts as 13.0) The fastest female highschoolers run about 11.3, and winning state usually takes I think about 11.8, so 13.0 isn't excellent- but still good. Keep training and you could do something great.
