My fiance's friends, both male and female, at his work had a go at him for not sleeping with enough people before settling down with me.
They told him, "What would you know? You've only slept with one person".
We were each others firsts and now we are happily engaged, it doesn't bother him or me that we havn't slept with anyone else but each other, I think what we have is special.
He defended the both of us and told them that we are happy so we don't need to sleep with anyone else to experience something that we already have together.

They have their right to their own opinion but is it fair that they can judge us like this when we are so happy together?

Congratulations, I'm so happy for the two of you!
Your friends and his, and for that matter everybody else may not agree with your behavior or your life... people will think whatever the heck they want to. Don't let it bother you and do remember that people have their own minds not easily changed once made up. People would rather sit in judgment. It makes'em feel better.

Yes they are entitle to their opinion. Is it fair to judge you? Of course not. Sweetie, feel safe in the knowledge that you and your future husband will be happier than they will ever be. If they think you need to sleep around before you find your special someone, they're very sad people. This isn't something you go comparison shopping for. Who knows maybe thy're just jealous of the happiness you and your fiance have found, Good luck.

If you have to sleep with several people in order to know you've found "the one," then I'm in big trouble, because I haven't even started. Sad me.........

Anyway remember, the tradition used to be (and this was just a few decades ago), one person. The first kiss for every couple used to occur on the altar.

They have no right at all to judge. My husband was a virgin when I met him, and yes people told him to get out there and have more experience, but that isn't necessary. If you ask me, that just raises the risk of disease and unwanted children. If you two are happy together, don't let anyone stop you or get to you.

No one in this world can judge us except GOD. You're completely right that they can have their own opinion, but remember that we can't shut the people's mouth. They say whatever would like to say, they suggest us their ideas. But the only person who can stand on his/her own idea is ourselves. Then go by what you've got in your mind and heart. Do listen to them, but do whatever you think it's right for you.

No,Tell them to mind their own Biz.If they are your friends they won't be saying things like that to start with.If they persist ask them point blank how happy and successful is the relationship they are in. I think you and he may be surprised at the answer.

why do you care if they are judging you? All that matters is that you are happy. If he stopped working there today then no one would know. Dont tell anyone else and enjoy your lives. Misery loves company

why does it really matter what people think? are you in a relationship with them...or your fiancee?? he's chosen to do that because he loves you and it's something that makes him happy. you stayed with him because you decided that he is good to you and he makes you happy. who cares what anybody else has to say. nobody has the right to say anything...that doesn't concern them.

Judge not, lest ye be judged. Don't worry about them. You are doing what is right and more importantly, you are doing what God would want you to do.
