Their plagiarism and suing for valedictorian status and self-inflating lies are only typical of kids who are led to believe that you do whatever it takes to "succeed".

The irony lies in the the belief that a credential from Harvard or Yale is somehow a guarantee of success. It is not.

The only real guarantee of success is strength of character. (So long as you know the real DEFINITION of success, that is.)

As for the Ivy's, shame on them for creating an admissions environment that essentially requires a 17 or 18 year old child to demonstrate ever more incredible feats of derring-do so as to stand out from the rest of the pack.

The punch line? It's NOT about superficial credentials. It's about substance (whether you are an institution or an individual).
