Dab vasaline (dont rub) under your eyes before bed, you can put it on your lips too! This is a trick models use, do this nightly you'll never get the dark or puffy circles again. I had the same problem until I found out about this!

Under eye circles can come from many sources: lack of sleep, heredity, lack of nutrition, dehydration, blood circulation, liver or kidney problems, and perhaps just inherited light skin that showcases them. Hylexin is a good product to use, and it certainly helps. But it's really just striking at the branches and leaving the root untouched. You should find the source of the problem. If you've tried more sleep, perhaps you can eliminate sodas from your diet and commit to drinking at least 12 glasses of water a day. Try things one at a time (give it at least 10 days), or you won't know which remedy is working. Cleaning up your diet is another thing to try. The only other thing I can suggest is going to see an allergist that can determine if you suffer from any allergies, and whether they're food related or environmentally related. Hope this helps you, because I know how bogus those little buggars can be!

I swear on my mother's life this works. Peel slices of cucumber and tape them over your eyes; make sure they are covering the bags underneath. Some people just lie down with them lying on top but I like to tape them. You can hold them there too but I like to keep them on for about 45mins, or an hour. Maybe 1/2 hour will do. Anyway, it's like getting a face lift. It's incredible and you won't believe the results. I've heard about rubbing Preparation H on the bags which makes a lot of sense, but I only tried that once and the results were not as good as the cucumber. As for the dark circles, the cucumber will help with the shadows from the bags being gone but you also need to get plenty of rest if you want them to totally disappear. Also, like Melanie says, the tea bags work also rather well.

Tanning has always helped me. The skin under your eyes is extremly thin and that is why it is so dark. Try tanning. You will be impressed. Two weeks every other day. Start at 7 minutes and then increase your minutes by 2 minutes every day. Make sure you use the tanning lotion too. Dont put too much on your face. Just whatever is left on your hands when your done with your whole body. Watch the circles go away. Beautiful.

also hold a cold compress (like an icepack) on them at night and/or especially in the mornings, after waking up. You could also make a cup of chamomile tea and then freezing the tea bags and put the tea bags on your eyes.
Also you should use light moisturizer and put it under your eyes in the mornings after you shower and at night. You could also use concealer and try to find a kind that works well with your skin to help disguise the darkness of your undereye circles.
If none of this works you may wants to see a dermatologist simply because you may have very thin skin undert yur eyes or may have broken capillaries.

It could be dehydration too. Try drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. Also avoid too many toxins in your diet and eat plenty of fruit, veg and whole grains.

I found that when I am dehydrated and run down I get bags under my eyes.

Hope this helps.

Used tea bags work wonders. Also cucumber slices are great too. If you are just prone to dark circles try a concealer under you eye (pat it on to blend it into your skin color). Has worked for me for 35 years.

Cold things help with puffiness...but as for me...I've had circles forever. They're not going away. It's genetic. I just wash my face in warm water...then cold. Then put stick cover-up over them. Yellow tones should help mask them.
