No, having anxieties doesn't typically make you crazy. If you have a big project or test at school, and you're feeling nervous about it...that could be a form of anxiety.

However, anxieties can be problematic when it prevents you from participating in normal everyday activities. Like if you can't leave the house because you think people are going to be staring at you for some reason or another, then yes, this is not normal behavior.

I would really recommend that you talk to somebody about how you feel. Preferrably, a professional psychologist would be helpful, but even if you have some friends, or parents that you can open up and talk to. It never helps to keep everything bottled up inside.

I hope that helps, good luck!

A lot of times it could get better. I would recommend you see a medical doctor or therapist, they might can help you out. And, no you are not crazy! I have very bad anxiety, it is so bad it makes me sick and I miss a lot of work over it and I was diagnosed as having extreme anxiety and I had to take zoloft. It didn't help me much, it made me sicker. Anything and everything gave me anxiety, stress was the main thing. I had went to doctors as a kid and they couldn't find anything wrong with me, I was misdiagnosed many times, like being allergic to milk products, greasy foods, acidy drinks, people said it was my gall bladder or gall stones and a diabetic etc. When I became an adult I found out I had extreme anxiety and that made more sense than anything else. I have tried everything to get rid of it. I didn't get rid of it, I just have it under control now, Not being in a work that is so stressful, calming down or not taking things to seriously and taking deep breaths and praying helps as well and take sometime off for yourself, I know all of this is easier said than done and I am not a doctor or anything, but, I have been there and still am there and I know how you can hate it, I hate mine to. I let to many things bother me and now I am trying to relax more and be more laid back. You have to find out what's best for you and go for it. I hope I was able to help you some. Good luck!

No it doesn't mean that you are crazy in anyway. Lots of people, including me have anxiety and anxiety attacks and I'm like the happiest, go-lucky person you could ever meet. Some of the best things to do for it though include relaxing.... stress only makes it worse. Find a place by yourself and focus on relaxing all the muscles in your body. If it is really bad and interferring with your life then yes you should get some kind of help because no one should have to deal with things like this on their own. Don't worry about feeling strange getting help either because in the end it will help you in more ways than one. Good luck!

being anxious doesn't mean youre crazy at all! you just get overwhelmed or have a hard time dealing with certain stressors. you can see a shrink to get meds, but the easier and probably healthier route would be to just look into some self help books that will give you tips on coping mechanisms or other stress relief methods. hit up a barnes and noble and read up! you're not crazy--just a little stressed :)

No, it just means you have a certain kind of response to stressful situations. What is stressful for you might not be what is stressful for the next person. We're all unique in many ways.

Consult with your physician to determine whether there are medical problems affecting your anxiety. There are behavioral treatments and medications that can help if your healthcare professionals determine that they are appropriate.

Good luck to you.

no you are not crazy, when you have these episodes of anxiety just take a deep breath and tell your self to relax there is nothing to be anxious about think of things that are comforting to you, and put the anxious thoughts on hold, remember to breath and tell yourself it will pass and it will. It takes only a little practice before you will no long dewell on those thoughts.

Having anxiety simply means you're worried about something. Obviously, this is a normal state of mind for anyone, but you don't want it to persist. You want to do something about it so you can remove the worry. And you don't want it to become the center of your life. So no, it doesn't mean you're crazy.
