Oregon has Mt Hood and that is close to Portland only about 45 minutes to downtown and then you can also cross the river over to Washington and go to Mt St.Helens that is a neat historical mountain to go and see and then up by Seattle is Mt.Rainer. Have fun in the snow and just stay safe cause alot of people have never seen real snow or been in real snow and they are the ones that normally get hurt, just like those guys that went missing up on Mt.Hood about a month ago and they probably never saw real snow cause a couple of them were from Dallas Texas.

Sun Valley, Idaho. Small community, several ski mountains that all get great snow.

I would go to Mammoth Mountain, California. It is a great city, has great snow, and never gets too cold. It has runs varyin from beginner runs to expert runs.

Steamboat Springs Colorodo or Vail. I would say Lake Tahoe also, but that is more of an adult themed area with the gambling and all.
