It is not exactly wrinkles. With age and living comes character, some of which is wrinkles. Some is a difference in facial muscle tone or the degree to which the facial tissue structure goes south or gets emaciated, and changes in skin texture. Generally, youth is associated with firm, tight skin, a litttle facial roundness, no jowls, smooth, moist looking skin. Age is associated with sagging, jowls, wrinkles and a drying of skin. Eyes become obscured with sagging lids and bags. The naso-labial folds get deeper. Crepiness under the chin, wattles and sagging neck skin. Hope that helps.

There are several things that make you look your age. The fullness of the face, the firmness and color as well. Lots of young girls have lines arounf their eyes but you can see they are young by the above. Compare the density of an older person's face to yours and you will see the difference. You will find more defined bone structure, less meat in the face unless its saggy skin in the cheek- jaw area. Also, eyelids are less full on older people, more hallow. Enjoy looking young!

Smoking. It's the #1 way to make yourself look your age, or older. I think dressing too young (when 're in your late 20's and up) also just highlights your age- you end up looking ridiculous, desperate, and you're fooling no one! A dated haircut can also make you look your age by defining an era you've been living in!

Style, sometimes. If you were age 15 in 1970 your style of dress and hair would be different than if you were 15 in 1990. Their age shows in the culture of the time.

If they can remember TV shows you have never seen, even in reruns, they are quite a bit older.

clothing is a tell tale sign of ones age too. wearing clothes that look either old fashioned or such can definitely make a person look different than their real true age as well too.

Features that make someone look younger are, lots of facial fat, button nose, big eyes, round face, full cheeks. Features that make someone look older are less facial fat, long face, defined cheeks bones, prominent chin and strong jawline. HTH : )

Older people: Sagging or dry skin. Graying hair (eyebrows, beards, etc.). Weight sometimes...too thin or too plump, either one can.

Younger: Firm, fresh skin.

These are some things.
