My Beta hides in ornaments all day - why is this and how can I fix it ?

It probably feels safe in there, apart from removing the ornament, you can't do much

they are territorial and that spot is the territory he has claimed. you can move it around some. i suggest more plants and less ornaments. i use little japanese cups for them to claim as territory and since they are open you can always see them too.
