Are you absolutely sure yr PC doesn't have an ethernet port? What have you got, a Commodore Pet? All Modern PCs will have one; it's round the back!
I presume you need one to connect to yr router to set up the wireless security parameters?
Look at the manual for yr PC...

Well, normally you wouldnt need an ethernet port if you were using a wireless connection, but im guessing this is for a desktop being plugged straight into a router. Getting ethernet connectivty isnt very difficult, luckily! The easiest option is to get a USB to Ethernet adapter from a best buy type store and use that. You can also get an internal ethernet card, or NIC, and install it inside the PC case.

You can buy a USB to Ethernet port adaptor off ebay for only around £5 if thats any use. I only know this as i've just ordered one myself, but yet to try it out.
For wireless network though most wireless adaptors are usb connected and the ethernet is purely for wired connection.
Hope that help?

If you need an ethernet port, go to the store and buy one. If for a desktop, it will be a PCI card. For a laptop, it will be a PC card. Alternatively, you can get a USB ethernet adapter.

you shouldnt need one for wireless working but if you want to add an ethernet port, you can get a pci card to put into spare expansion slot(assuming you have one)

i could determine that the two drivers from the community adapters are thoroughly removed from the device by using upload/do away with classes. then bypass to start > RUN > variety in regedit bypass to the menu and decide Export. you will save a replica of the registry to a distinctive region on your device. then seek the registry and delete any connection with the two community adapters that have been put in. Reboot to establish the device is sweet. then upload the instantaneous card and reinstall the drivers. Edit: you may bypass away the drivers for the 1394 controller. record the make and sort of the two the instantaneous computing device card and the Ethernet card that alter into before put in.
