I wanted to make my boyfriend of 6 weeks a playlist . He's Emo and i'm not quite sure of the songs i can send to him, anyone can give me ideas please? Music is such an important thing to him.

Emo is a genre of music that died in the early 90's. Please stop referring it to these lame mtv-mo bands.

AAR, MCR, Motion City Soundtrack, (+44), 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy's older stuff, and such which. Definitly not anything on Fueled By Ramen Records. You can actually dance to their music.

Songs by Death Cab For Cutie and old My Chemical Romance may work. Maybe try (although they're not emo) Evanescence. Their stuff like Lithium and Cloud 9 may just be up his alley.
