No, Paranoia pretty much cancels out gaydar.

First of all, I think that there is such a thing as "gaydar", and I think it's pretty much the ability to read people. Subtle body language that you might not even realize you're picking up on (such as eye contact, or noticing their covert looks at other men / women, etc). That said, knowing your stereotypes is NOT gaydar. Homophobes are pretty good at knowing their stereotypes (who invented them, afterall?), but I feel like it's pretty unlikely for them to notice the other stuff. But, then, I have no base of experience for this, since I don't tend to hang with 'phobes.

Not really, on both counts (homophobes tend to think everyone is gay, so like a broken watch, they're bound to be right at least once in a while).
