That is up to you, it is safe either way.

I can't express enough how great information from Le Leche League is!!! I read the book, The womanly art of breastfeeding, and it was great! you can get the book online or just about anywhere you get other baby stuff....

REMEMBER, BREAST IS ALWAYS BEST!!!

also, contact your local le leche league group! they can be an enourmous support system for you!

Good Luck!!!!

She will prefer it as close to body temperature as you can get it. Don't microwave it or heat it on the stove. Either put the bottle in a bowl of warm water to warm it up or run it under warm tap water for a few minutes. But if she will drink it cold and likes it cold, then that is fine.

My son would take a bottle straight out of the fridge, my daughter needed it warmer. Can't microwave breastmilk or it destroys all those good things that differentiate it from formula, but in a bowl of warm water is a good idea.

LOL Love these answers!

You don't HAVE to warm bottles no matter what they contain.

I never warmed my oldest sons bottles of breastmilk or formula. One day they couldn't figure out WHAT was wrong with him in the church nursery, they had warmed his bottle before they tried to give it to him and he refused it! LOL

It's just prefrence. It will not harm your baby at all in any way, shape or form! It won't cause gas, colic, diarrhea, constipation, warts, ulcers, diaper rash, cavities, stinky feet or cooties!

If, however you start out warming them, some babies will refuse a cold bottle and, as my story proves, vice versa.

I was just too lazy to warm them. But I'm also too lazy to use formula!

actually, you're incorrect :) sparkling breastmilk is solid for 8-10 hours at room temp. you do not ought to save it on ice till it is going to likely be an somewhat long term till you feed your infant. while you're bringing alongside frozen milk, it will be effective besides, it is going to easily defrost slowly in the process the day. you won't be able to re-freeze thawed milk, yet you may freeze sparkling milk after 10 hours. Breast milk isn't formulation, it would not bypass undesirable in a pair hours. in case you bypass to a cafe, you may order a cup or bowl of warm water and permit the bottle take a seat in it for a jiffy. that ought to heat up the milk. or you may run the bottle under warm water in a restroom. it fairly is not a grievance in any respect, besides the undeniable fact that it is fairly useful to contemplate purely nursing in public. you may often discover an out of ways place in case you do not % to take a seat in a crowded area. I submit to in ideas i exchange into so frightened with my first approximately nursing in public, yet I have been given surprisingly solid at it. maximum folk do not care, fantastically in case you employ a easy receiving blanket to conceal. assorted human beings consume in public, why not your infant? solid luck!

You can give it to her straight from the fridge but she may not like it...and she may throw it up...lol better to run under som warm water (never microwave) to bring it to room temp. As baby gets older...this is less of a problem.

Yes, you should warm it. Don't use the microwave...it will break down some of the important ingredients in the milk.

They don't care for the strong temp difference. Put it in the bottle, run it under hot tap water until it is room temp.
