It's people like you who should have been swallowed at conception. There is a WHOLE difference between new mexico and mexico you moron. New mexico is part of the u.s. i can't tell you how many times i've gotten hell from people. EVEN telephone salesmen when i go to order something "sorry sir we can't ship internationally" New mexico was entered into statehood in 1821. So we weren't the last state. I swear some people. I reside in Clovis new mexico about 10 miles from he texas border. Perhaps you've heard of a few things Clovis has turned outin hollywood. In the old time rock and roll era a certain artist by the name of buddy holly did his recording here at norman petty studios. If that's too old for you how about a certain pop/country star by the name of leanne rhimes her first recording were done at johnny mulhair studios YES that's right here in clovis new mexico and JUST in case your a sports buff. How about chicago's Brian Urlacher from lovington n.m., OR just in case your an eagles fan.
