Can someone help me with improving my memory....?

Do you have any tips for me please.

I shall be studying medicine and need some tips. I do well by hard work, i am not gifted.

get plenty of rest and eat a balanced diet. Also, don't cram when you study. Read a little bit daily to retain more and help with memory.

In a Times magazine I read that Zinc increases your memory, secondly try Fish Oil. Remember that the brain runs on nutrients and it's better to have a balance of everything by keeping a good diet. As a medicine student, sleep is scarce so it is important to eat fruits or foods with tons of antioxidants and to keep hydrated. As for myself Fish Oil supplements have helped me retain my memory since with my studies I don't get to much sleep. Hope this helps!

I read a book while I was in 8th grade called how to have a super power memory. I forget the Author hehehe. But anyhoo It had exercises in there for remembering things by word association, he has devised a system to relate two digit number into words, you then use your imagination to think of something funny about the words, It works. I still use it today and Used it while I was in college, heck I can still recall the formula for the Sine of and angle. He had methods on remembering peoples names the same way, listen to their name repeat it and think of something funny about their name and their looks to associate together. Then practice. good luck on your studies
