A friend told me that in college he and his friends would point laser lights at the street lights as people drove by in thier cars, the laser caused the street light to think that it was day so it turned off, maby someone is doing that.

Its all to do with static electricity, wait til it gets really bad and you have to wear rubber bands on your wrists before you can open a door that has a metal handle. my daughter had so much static in her, every door in her office had to have a rubber band on it.
